Kids and family fun at the ACMI
There are always lots of interesting activities for children and family fun to be had at the ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image) located in Federation Square, Melbourne open daily from 10am – 5pm.
The ACMI is an entertainment centre unique to Melbourne that celebrates all things film, television and digital imagery. During school holidays there are Kid’s Flicks , creative workshops such as film making, animation, coding and make-up for movies, video-games at Games Lab Level Up and the Screen Worlds Gallery that exhibits the history of screen culture beautifully with lots of interactive technology, games and short film clips to watch.
The ACMI Cafe & Bar is a vibrant place to meet and eat with small treats, charcuterie boards and hearty mains on the menu. There is free WiFi and you can grab take-away hot drinks as well.
