Teenage Etiquette and Social Skills Workshop with Lunch
Teenagers will learn about self-awareness, social skills, body language, respect and managing nerves!
Our teenage etiquette and social skills workshop focus on helping teens gain skills to develop a positive self-awareness that will contribute to making a lasting impression. They will be guided on how to build strong self-esteem through improved social skills, body language, and good posture, as well as learning the value of positive body language, self-respect, respecting others and gain invaluable strategies for managing nerves.
Finally, the importance of table manners in the modern world is covered, giving the teens an opportunity to put newly acquired dining skills into practice over a two-course lunch!

AGE: 13-15 years (recommended)
PRICE: $190 per participant (including tuition, notes, a certificate, and two-course lunch).
WHEN: Wednesday, 3 October 2018 from 10:00 – 13:30.
DURATION: 3.5 hours
NUMBERS: A minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 12 participants.

Setting the table – knowing where all the pieces of cutlery, crockery, glassware & linens go.
Navigating a place setting: Which bread plate is mine? Which glass do I use?
Dos and don’ts in a dining environment.
Your duties as a host – and a guest!
Knowing when to start.
How not to ‘HKLP’! Holding cutlery correctly.
Polite table talk.
Passing and offering food.
How to deal discretely with food you don’t like – and offend no one!
What to do when we have finished eating.
Who is presenting?
Ana formerly served in the Royal Household of Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace, as well as holding other high profile positions involving protocol and etiquette. She brings a unique understanding of how traditional etiquette translates to the modern world and presents these social skills in a fun and very practical way specifically aimed at children.
At the very forefront of planning and executing major Royal events during her time at Buckingham Palace, Ana also held a military career spanning 12 years in the British Royal Navy, as well as senior positions in the corporate world.
She offers a professional, authoritative and comprehensive etiquette and social skills training. Ana’s warm personality and sense of humour ensure that children feel at ease while they learn the ins and outs of etiquette for a variety of situations applicable to them.
